Hello London!
Just a quick update to let you know we’ve moved – sort of…
For the foreseeable future Parks and Records will be an international indie label with operations in London and Oakland, California. The best of both worlds.
More to come!

It’s that time again. Time to give thanks and give back.
Thanks – Thank you to our friends, fans, and families for coming to shows, buying stuff, and just being there for Parks and Records over the years.
Give back – This year Parks and Records is giving a percentage of sales to the following awesome organizations:
National Parks Conservation Association – Protecting our parks
National Park Foundation – Inspiring generations of national park enthusiasts
Marin County Bicycle Coalition – striving for 20% of all trips in Marin to be made by bicycling or walking by 2020
This marks the 8th year of Parks and Records and we are just getting warmed up.
See you all in 2015 as we start the year with our 10th release – The Things of Youth, Volume One.
Happy Holidays!
Team Parks and Records

Announcing Silian Rail’s new, third album each/other, an evolution in composition and technical craftsmanship. Maintaining the melodically dense, open-tuned guitar and criss-crossed drumming of previous releases, each/other adds in melancholic piano, lush strings and noisy percussion, feedback and viola. The band credits engineer and co-producer Robert Cheek for the enhanced sonic sounds, as well as the addition of local artists Dina Maccabee (of Ramon & Jessica) and Lynne Angel (of Tartufi). – Whitney Phaneuf, The Deli

Eric and Robin are good friends of ours. We share a practice space, we draw dirty things on each other’s writeboards, but I would not be painting a complete picture if I didn’t mention that they tour in a Mercury Sable station wagon. This is, in fact, the second one that Eric has owned, and he definitely sees the trend continuing.
So kids, when you see this friendly maroon wagon pull up at half time of your game, I’m sorry, they don’t have orange slices, but they do know how to play a good rock song.
